Attentive, whole-person care across screenings, wellness, and life transitions.

Women's Health

Overview

What to expect

We provide thoughtful women's health services including preventive screenings, wellness exams, hormonal and menopausal care, and counseling. Our goal is care that listens first and treats the whole person.

Your reproductive health changes across your life, and the care it needs changes with it. We provide women's health services that follow those stages rather than treating each visit as an isolated event.

That covers preventive care, contraception, and menopause — along with the physical, mental, and emotional health that sits alongside all of it and too often gets left out of the conversation.

When to come in

We recommend a women's health exam once a year — a complete physical, a pelvic exam, and the preventive screenings appropriate for you — even when you feel entirely well.

Come in sooner if something has changed: pelvic pain, irregular periods, or any symptom you cannot explain. If you are experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, or other signs of a hormone imbalance, whether from menopause or an underlying condition, we can order blood work to find out what is driving it.

What a visit involves

We review your medical history, your current health, and anything you have noticed. A physical exam follows, including a pelvic and breast exam to check the health of your reproductive organs. As part of the pelvic exam we can perform a Pap smear, collecting cells from your cervix and examining them for early signs of cervical cancer.

If you have come in about a specific symptom, we order the blood work or diagnostic testing needed to identify the cause, screen for infections where relevant, and talk through your options — including contraception or hormone therapy. We will also cover the ordinary things that protect long-term health: what you eat, how you move, and how to lower your risk of chronic disease.
