Gurpreet Smagh

Gurpreet Smagh is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 10 years of clinical experience across a wide range of high-acuity settings, including Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Occupational Medicine.

In addition to his role at AmpleHealth, Gurpreet currently practices at Sacramento Rehabilitation Hospital, where he manages complex rehabilitation patients navigating recovery from serious injuries, surgeries, and neurological conditions.

His procedural skill set includes wound debridement, skin excisions, abscess management, and minor surgical interventions. He has deep expertise in workers' compensation cases, DOT physicals, and occupational injury management — making him a valued resource for patients whose health intersects with their work.

Gurpreet is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, enabling him to serve patients across diverse linguistic communities in the Sacramento region.
