Soni Nageswaran

Dr. Soni Nageswaran is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients across primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, telemedicine, and complex clinical settings. Her broad clinical background allows her to care for patients of all ages while managing both acute concerns and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Nageswaran has served patients throughout the Sacramento region in a variety of settings, including Sacramento County Primary Care, the Sacramento VA Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, and Sacramento County Adult Correctional Health. She has also served as clinical faculty at the UC Davis School of Medicine and has extensive experience teaching and supervising physicians and advanced practice providers.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Nageswaran has served as an Expert Reviewer for the Medical Board of California since 2007, reviewing complex cases involving quality of care and professional standards.

Dr. Nageswaran earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency at UC Davis Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Johns Hopkins University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
