Biography

Yelena Popova is a Physician Assistant at AmpleHealth who brings a strong medical foundation and nearly two decades of family and internal medicine experience to her patients.

She earned her medical degree from Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Academy in Ukraine before completing her Physician Assistant training at the UC Davis Physician Assistant Program, graduating in 2005. Since graduation, she has worked continuously in family and internal medicine.

Yelena is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, allowing her to serve patients from Eastern European communities who prefer to communicate in their native language.

Outside of work, Yelena enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and hiking.
