Liz Hernandez

Dr. Hernandez is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who immigrated to California from Colombia in 2005. She conducted medical research at UCSF before completing her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, TX. She is passionate about preventive care and champions healthy lifestyle choices, stress reduction, strong mental and emotional health, non-narcotic pain management, and active patient involvement in care decisions.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Hernandez brings a multicultural perspective to her practice and is committed to building long-term, trust-based relationships with her patients — always doing right by them, taking a comprehensive and holistic approach to care, and taking the time to educate patients so they can be true partners in their own health.
